D- Departure

She grabs him from behind for the twentieth time now

He turns back to her and smiles at her

She doesn’t want him to go

He knows what she means when she stops him every time

She whispers into his ear “Please stay safe.”

He replies back to her “I will. But,only if you stay strong”

She hugs him and reassures him of that

He hugs her back

She doesn’t want him to leave she says

He doesn’t respond to that

She weeps her eyes out letting him go

He hugs her until she stops crying

“This is the final call for passengers boarding the flight number E7XXXXX”

She bids him his good bye with a smile, she knows that he doesn’t like leaving her when she cries

He smiles back at her reassuring her of his arrival very soon

She watches him walk away from her and waves to him as long as she can’t see him anymore and she turns to leave

“Flight number E7XXXXX has departed”

I know this post is different from the other ones. But, I wanted to try something new and it was also hard for me to find the topic for today when compared to the last days to be honest. But, that’s how a challenge is supposed to work right if it’s easy it’s not really a challenge anymore.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the read. Feel free to like and comment your opinions.
